About Anita

Anita founded A. Bright Idea as a sole practitioner in 1996 after spending the first part of her career supporting the U.S. Army Chemical Demilitarization program as a public affairs specialist for a large defense contractor. Anita's creativity and solid verbal and visual communication skills laid the foundation for the A. Bright Idea team. Today, Anita delivers the strategic vision for client and business operations for offices on the East and West Coast.

The Public Relations Society of America inducted Anita into the College of Fellows in 2014. She is a member of the Maryland Chapter, Los Angeles Chapter, Counselors Academy Section and Public Affairs and Government Section of the Public Relations Society of America. In 2021 when A. Bright Idea celebrated its 25th anniversary, Anita was honored with the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award from PRSA's Maryland Chapter. She also volunteers as a mentor for many young professionals in the industry.

Anita enjoys a bi-coastal lifestyle, spending time with her family between California and Maryland. On rare occasions outside the office, Anita enjoys cleaning (yes, cleaning, especially vacuuming!) entertaining, cooking, and planning and pinning inspiration for home improvement and design projects.
