Director of Advertising & Media
The Director of Advertising & Media leads and owns campaigns from ideation to execution – developing full-funnel, multi-channel media strategies, identifying audience targets and micro-targeting, negotiating with media to build new and custom opportunities, creating and reviewing media plans, optimizing campaigns in flight, reconciling and reporting.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field
  • Minimum 6+ years experience in marketing/media planning and buying regionally and nationally (international experience a plus); extensive digital experience preferred including SEO/SEM, web background, social media and digital advertising (behavior targeting, PPC/Display, etc.)
  • Exceptional knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager social platform reporting and demonstrated ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Certifications for Google Analytics, Google Ad Manager, Facebook Blueprint, Marketo, preferred
  • Minimum 3+ years experience managing a team with demonstrated ability to lead people and achieve positive results through others
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with a focus on being able to deliver clear and concise direction
  • Project management experience and ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines
  • Success and comfort with vendor negotiation related to all areas of media buy, contracts, added-value, integration and overall partnership
  • Proven ability to analyze media and demonstrate creative thinking
  • Demonstrated proficiency in social media and digital formats
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with both internal and external parties
  • Forward-thinker with the ability to work independently, thrive in a fast-paced environment and navigate ambiguity or uncertainty
