Media Planner and Buyer

Must-Have Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years buying media in local markets (regional and national buys a plus)
  • Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing or related field
  • Agency experience preferred
  • Experience executing media buys and building media relationships to reach client objectives
  • Digital media experience preferred
  • Experience using media software to plan media buys
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with media, and negotiate on behalf of client
  • Demonstrated ability to manage media budgets
  • Ability to communicate media plans and overall strategy to clients and upper management
  • Problem-solver and over-communicator with exceptional attention to detail
  • Passionate and cooperative team player with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and web-based software programs
